How we handle your information.

Sytepoint, Inc. operates sytepoint.com. This page explains what personal information we collect when you visit the site or contact us, why we collect it, and how to reach us with questions.

01 — What we collect

The short version: very little.

Information you give us. If you fill out the contact form on /contact, we receive your name, email address, company (optional), and the message you write. If you book a call through /learn, our scheduling provider receives your name, email, and selected time. We use this information only to reply to you.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our analytics tools record standard request metadata — pages viewed, referrer, device type, approximate location derived from IP, and a session identifier stored in a cookie. We use this to understand which pages are useful and to improve them. We do not sell this data.

What we do not collect. We do not collect Social Security numbers, government IDs, payment card details, or health information through this website. The contact form is for inquiries — please do not paste sensitive credentials, customer data, or NDA-bound material into it.

02 — Third parties

The services that touch your data.

We use a small set of third-party services to run the site and respond to inquiries. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:

  • Vercel — hosts the site and processes server logs (request metadata, IP address) for security and performance.
  • Google Analytics 4 — page-level usage analytics. Cookies are set for session identification.
  • PostHog — product analytics and session replay for the public marketing site. Replays capture page interactions, not keystrokes in form fields (form input is masked by default).
  • Resend — delivers contact-form submissions to our internal inbox.
  • Sentry — error and performance monitoring. Captures URL, browser version, and stack trace of any JavaScript error, plus a small sample (10%) of request timings. No form input or page content is included.
  • Cal.com — handles call scheduling for the booking flow on /learn.
  • Google Ads — conversion tracking for advertising campaigns. Loaded only on pages reached from a paid ad.

These providers operate under their own privacy policies. We share information with them only to operate the site or follow up on your inquiry — never for resale or marketing to unrelated third parties.

03 — Cookies

What we set on your browser.

The site sets first-party and third-party cookies for analytics (Google Analytics, PostHog) and, on advertising landing pages, for conversion tracking (Google Ads). You can clear or block these in your browser settings, or use a browser-level “Do Not Track” signal. Blocking cookies will not break the site.

We do not currently display a cookie consent banner. Our visitors are primarily US-based business users, where the legal requirement is generally notice-and-choice (this page) rather than prior opt-in. If you visit from a jurisdiction with stricter rules and want your data removed, email us — see “Contact” below.

04 — Retention & your rights

How long we keep things, and what you can ask for.

Contact-form submissions are kept in our inbox indefinitely so we can pick up a conversation later. Analytics data is retained at the defaults set by each provider (Google Analytics: 14 months; PostHog: per project settings). Server logs roll off within 30 days.

You can ask us to: confirm what we have on you, send you a copy, correct it, or delete it. California, Colorado, Virginia, and other US-state residents have these rights under their respective privacy laws. EU/UK residents have similar rights under GDPR. We respond to verified requests within 30 days. Email hello@sytepoint.com with the request.

05 — Security & changes

The boring but important parts.

Security. The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated server-side and rate-limited. We use industry-standard practices to protect data in transit and at rest, but no internet-facing system is perfectly secure.

Children. Sytepoint sells to businesses. The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes. If we materially change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
